Welcome to the Author Website of Theresa Harvard Johnson! Prophet Theresa Harvard Johnson is a passionate, present day prophetic scribe, licensed and ordained minister, and bible teacher whose ministry is rooted in restoring the literary arts to its rightful place in the body of Christ. She is dedicated to training and equipping a generation of scribal warriors who are committed to spreading the testimony of Jesus Christ, and tearing down every altar that exalts itself above the word of God. She is often referred to as a “Deborah to many Baraks” who is standing in a season when God is calling his worshippers to take authority over the principalities and powers governing their regions with uncompromising faith and the weapons of their warfare at their side. Her hearts cry is for the restoration of love, character, integrity and the fear of the Lord to the worship arts. She dreams of companies of scribes mobilizing world-wide to serve in the Army of the Lord who desire to become living epistles who reflect the very image of Jesus Christ instead of mere performers focused on showmanship. Prophet Johnson is the president and founder of Voices of Christ Literary Ministries International, an advancing School of the Scribe headquartered in Metro Atlanta and established on Matthew 28:18-20. Currently, the ministry has eight chapters across the United States (Oregon, Southern California, Arizona, Nevada, Georgia, North Carolina, Virginia and Florida). In unity, Voices of Christ has impacted the lives of many men and women over the past eight years through personal coaching, free community workshops and retreats, online and teleconference classes, community outreach, and numerous intensive, intimate retreats. Through Voices of Christ, prophetic scribes are loved, reconciled, restored, nurtured, affirmed and encouraged in their unique call to release God’s prophetic word – particularly as it relates to creative writing. Prophet Johnson and the Voices of Christ have ministered and/or taught at over a hundred venues since the ministry launched in 2000 including churches, conferences, seminars, workshops, retreats and youth events through poetry, spoken word and prophetic writing instruction. She has more than 15 years experience in journalism as a newspaper reporter and freelance writer. She has earned recognition and awards from the Associated Press, the Georgia Press Association, and the Georgia Association of Educators for deadline reporting and special series writing. In her career, she has also written grants, organizing documents, policies and procedures, and other documentation for corporate, nonprofit, educational and government organizations. In addition, she is the author of a collection of poetry entitled, Thank God for Salvation; and a series of books currently used teach and mentor writers entitled, The Scribal Anointing™ & The Scribal Companion Series, Spiritually Critiquing Literary Works, and Scribal Purpose. Later this year, she will soon release Scribal Warfare and Literary Evangelism: Moving Beyond the Open Mic. Prophet Johnson is also the editor of the online and soon to be in print prophetic creative writing magazine, Esdras’ Scroll™; and host of SPOKEN: In praise, poetry and spoken word, an Internet worship arts radio broadcast that airs globally each week. She has also written articles for the nationally and internationally acclaimed Charisma Magazine, Rejoice Atlanta News, local Metro Atlanta newspapers, and several online publications. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications, and is currently pursuing a Masters of Public Administration through Keller Graduate School of Management. Her ministry license was issued by Harvest International Network, Inc. under Apostle John A. Davis Sr. of Stockbridge, Georgia. She has also completed training through Christian International’s School of the Prophets, and earned a ministry credential through Kingdom University under the instruction of Chancellor Dr. N. Cindy Trimm. For more information about Voices of Christ, please visit: www.voicesofchrist.org.
